On Thursday there’s a Book Slam at the Book Co-Op!
Here is how it works:
Pick a book from the Co-Op that you like and read aloud a passage from it… then keep the book! There will also be memberships for sale and snacks for free.
If you haven’t already, come and check out the shiny new colourful zines from the This Is Not Art festival in Newcastle and the range of music from Albert’s Basement as well as the usual range of text books, fiction and non fiction for selling and swapping.
