Chaplaincy
The chaplains provide ministry to the whole university. Some of the activities and aims of chaplaincy are to: support student groups, build a sense of community on campus, offer worship services and prayer, provide confidential personal counselling and spiritual direction. All Chaplains have agreed to work within a context of respect for all religions and expressions of faith. The team of chaplains consists of: a Jewish chaplain; Christian chaplains from the Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran and Uniting church traditions; the Islamic Adviser position is presently vacant.

Computing Centre

Provides a range of services from internet access and word processing through to desktop publishing, digital imaging, digital video editing and web authoring. The lab contains both Windows and Apple workstations, and provides black and white printing as well as access to a colour printer. The staff are always on hand to assist with any problems. One-on-one tuition and a number of short courses, from basic to advanced computing skills, are taught on location.

More than 30 student theatre groups are affiliated with Union House Theatre. Auditions for shows are advertised outside the office on the first floor of Union House and on the Union House Theatre blog. Experienced Union House Theatre staff can assist students in the artistic, administrative and technical areas of theatre production on campus. The Women’s Room is on the first floor of Union House. The Student Union provides these rooms in recognition that women need their own space to feel safe, confident and unthreatened.
