We know that as a student it can be difficult to make ends meet. We are always on the look out for ways to help our members save money and access vital services.
The Student Union provides a range of discounts on things that students need — the little things that can really weigh down your budget.
This includes discounts like:
- 10% discount* at The Uni Store, The Underground, basement, Union House. Includes Uni Brand clothing and souvenirs, hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, art and architecture supplies, lab coats and stationery. *Excludes some items, see instore for details.
- 15% off everything at the University Bookshop (excludes TicketMaster, vouchers and course readers which are non-profit items).
- Optometry – Free cleaning cloth and bottle of cleaning spray for spectacles at $2.50 (rrp $5) at Melbourne Uni Optometry, 800 Swanston St (opposite Gate 3).
- Food and coffee discounts in Union House
- Super cheap movie tickets for Hoyts or Village can be pre-purchased at The Uni Store and used at any session
