With over 100 clubs for interests as diverse as African Drumming, Amnesty International, Star Trek and Urban Yoga there is a lot going on between the lectures. Rowden White Library

The Rowden White Library is a recreation library for Student Union members with a diverse collection of contemporary books, comics, DVDs, journals, magazines, computer games and music. The Rowdy’s specialist collections include romance, science fiction/fantasy, crime and graphic novels.
Student Union Members can use the internet, have a snooze, listen to their favourite CDs in the listening room, and borrow books and DVDs, all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Clubs and Societies

Clubs affiliated with the Student Union can be cultural, religious, political, musical or recreational. So join a club or two, meet other students and have fun doing the things that you enjoy. If you can’t find the club that suits you, start your own!
Student Union Members get great benefits when they join clubs including half price club fees as well as more grant money and better resources.
Live Music and Entertainment

We have weekly Tuesday lunchtime bands and BBQs featuring huge local and international acts and hot up-and-comers. Throw into the mix comedy nights, band comps, Prosh Week and other great events and you’ll always have something to keep you entertained.
Student Union Members get priority access to events and a free members-only bar at Tuesday BBQs.
Members’ Lounge

Relax and recharge between lectures in your exclusive members-only lounge. With comfy seating, WiFi access, kitchen facilities, games, study areas and a huge plasma TV, it has everything you need to get you through the day.
Student Union Members get exclusive access to the Members’ Lounge.
Student Computing Centre
Fourth floor, Union House

The Centre is the only lab with staff to help you with your computer issues and offer Macs and PCs with all the latest software. Affordable, high-quality black or colour printing as well as binding and t-shirt printing are also available. Come update your Facebook, browse the web or catch-up with friends online — all the things you can’t do in the uni labs. You can be guaranteed our lab is here for both work and fun.
