Orientation 2010 transforms the heart of the Parkville campus into a vibrant festival with engaging information on services, activities and giveaways for first year students. There are some great opportunities available to our diverse and sought after student population.
Sample Stalls
7,000 students descend on the Parkville campus for 4 days of Orientation fun. Get involved with the seminal event of their University careers by hosting a sample stall – talk directly with new students, and let them experience your brand in their own setting. Register your details for an opportunity to take part.
- Prices and deadlines will be available shortly.
- Promoters receive 1 table, 2 chairs and access to power where available.
- During Orientation, promoters also receive a 3m x 3m marquee.
Uni Starter’s Guide
Mailed directly to first year students, the Uni Starter’s Guide provides students with all they need to know about starting Uni and having fun at Orientation including event information as well as informative articles.

Union Member Showbags
Over 2,000 bags are given to Student Union Members. Showbags are available for product
samples only (no advertising material please) and will be handed directly to our large
membership base during Orientation.

Banners Prominently displayed on the entrance to Union House, banners are an excellent way to advertise directly to Melbourne University students. With an average of 18,000 people entering Union House each day, each 1.6m wide x 3.2m high banner provides excellent exposure for your message on campus.
