Jac Taylor looks at family law-this is the full text version of the paper she gave at NOWSA '08

Approach to this family law ‘reform’ process reveals that the problem was represented to be father absence in the lives of children post-separation brought about by a biased family law system and mothers behaving badly. In doing so it ignored the evaluative research that emphasised a major failing in the family law system was its abject failure to protect women and children from violent men.

Network of Wom*n Students Australia (NOWSA) Conference

Tthe NOWSA conference is one intense week where women gather from all around the country to listen to speakers, participate in workshops, come up with ideas for campaigns, skill and resource share, and get to know other amazing women! This year the conference is in Adelaide and we will be subsidising women who are keen to attend. 7-10 July
